Shubham Sinha (born 13 November 1993) is an Indian short film director. He has made three short films: Fight With Failure, If I Rise and Poison. He is a nephew of film editor Aseem Sinha. Personal life Sinha is from the city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He graduated from Delhi Public School, Jamshedpur and studied Engineering at Dayanand Sagar College, Bangalore. Filmography Shubham Sinha started making short films after finishing his 12th class. He planned the script of first short film Fight With Failure while attending 11th class only but due to studies he could not finish it at that time. After his 12th class he started working on the first short film which was meant to stop suicides among youths. His first movie received the Best Film award from Dainik Bhaskar. When Sinha joined the college in his first year he made his second short film If I Rise that focuses on the reservation system in colleges. Bollywood singer Aman Trikha performed a song in this film. In 2014, Sinha released his third short film Poison to raise the awareness among youths on the addictive effects of smoking and alcohol.<ref name=Avenue/> Poison was selected for the Shimla short film festival. Shubham Sinha is currently working on a new project.
