Controversy and criticism
In April 2021, a video of Yadav went viral on social media in which he was heard hurling insults at the people attending a wedding gathering while overrunning two marriage ceremonies in Agartala as the District Magistrate (DM) of West Tripura. In the video, the District Magistrate was observed disrupting a wedding function at Manikya Court, a wedding hall at the North Gate of the Palace Compound.
