Shai Specht

Rabbi Shai Specht (August 30, 1973) is an American-Jewish religious leader.
Rabbi Shai Specht is a Cantor, Composer/Storyteller and Educator based in New York City. He specializes in music for children and family education, Kabbalah and Hazanut. Rabbi Shai has given workshops and performed all over the world.
Rabbi Shai offers a range of services, from spiritual counselling/healing to teacher workshops, Toddler/caretaker classes, Tot Shabbat to officiating weddings and B'nai Mitzvah. He has recorded and produced three children's albums. He also recorded an exclusive contemporary adult Jewish album ("Ma Tovu - songs for Shabbat") with Artemis records.
Rabbi Shai 's provocative Dance/Club version of the famous Jewish prayer "Avinu Malkeinu," has raised quite a few eye brows around the world. Rabbi Shai draws upon many influences, but has a unique energy and appeals to a wide range of audiences, young and old. His understanding and proven abilities, lure one in with a sense of intimacy and excitement. Rabbi Shai comes from a long line of Rabbis (including the Maharal of Prague), Cantors and Educators.
