Sexy Backs for Autism Awareness

Sexy Backs for Autism Awareness is a project by photographer James Price promoting awareness of the brain development disorder Autism.
History
After the diagnosis of his son having Autism, James C Price, in June 2008, decided to do something with his craft (as a photograpger) to help raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders. He started Sexy Backs for Autism Awareness, a photographic project for exhibition, and on the 22nd of June 2008 his wife Shana posed for the very first Sexy Backs photo.
Sexy Backs for Autism Awareness received over 10,000 page views in its first three months live. New Zealand Woman's Weekly ran a story about Sexy Backs and the Price family in October 2008, with the Wanganui Chronicle ran a full page feature story about the Sexy Backs for Autism Awareness project.
In an interview with Lin Ferguson for the Wanganui Chronicle regarding the concept for Sexy Backs James said "The idea is to produce simple Black & White portraits, showing naked backs, something we all have, something that is cheeky, fun, and where sex, age, race, or autism was irrelevant. I want people to turn their back FOR Autism, not away from it!
James' youngest son Tyler was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4 in 2007 and it was through this process that James discovered he has Asperger's Syndrome, a High Functioning form of Autism.
