Servicing Stop is a car servicing and repair company in the United Kingdom, specialising in car servicing, MOT testing, Diagnostic and repairs. As of 2014 there are 1000 Servicing Stop Garage's in the UK. History Servicing Stop was founded in April 2008 after the current Directors Oliver and Toby Richmond mortgaged their properties to create enough investment to enter the automotive servicing market as the release of the 2003 Block Exemption Regulation amended laws relating to the Servicing of a vehicle whilst in the manufacturers warranty, allowing independent garages to protect such warranties. In 2009 the Directors of Servicing Stop appeared on the BBC 2 Programme Dragons Den to secure additional investment whereby in the boardroom a deal was initially agreed with Deborah Meaden although subsequently this was not finalised. In 2012 Servicing Stop expanded into Ireland with as of 2014 a current network of 30 Garages covering the country. Products Servicing Stop offer interim and full services, MOT's, diagnostics and car repairs. Advertising In 2012 on the Cable Channel Dave Servicing Stop debuted its first TV advert which featured members of staff in prominent roles. Controversy In 2013 it was reported in the Daily Mail that a vehicle entering Servicing Stop's networks care was driven at 92mph exceeding the national speed limit.
