SEOmoz.org is a website specializing in search engine optimization (SEO). The site provides a community, consulting services, tools and educational resources for Internet marketing and SEO. In September 2007 SEOMoz raised $1.25 million in Series A from Ignition Partners. In 2012 SEOmoz raised $18 million in venture capital from Foundry Group and Ignition Partners. History In February 2010, SEOMoz branched away from providing SEO consulting services to focus on creating SEO software. They partnered with Distilled an SEO agency to service their remaining consulting clients. Rand Fishkin, the current CEO, left University of Washington, Seattle in 2004 to start the company.
