Ignition Consulting Group

Ignition Consulting Group is a consultancy focused on working with firms in the creative services industry. This includes companies as advertising agencies, design firms, public relations firms, and digital marketing firms. The consultancy is led by Tim Williams, a former advertising agency CEO, who is author of the book Take a Stand for Your Brand. Ignition’s work in helping to reinvent the business model of the advertising agency has been cited in U.S., Canadian, European, and Japanese business publications.
Ignition led a national research study in 2007 on behalf of the <span class="plainlinks">American Association of Advertising Agencies</span> and the <span class="plainlinks">Association of National Advertisers</span> on the topic of how advertising agencies and their agencies define the concept of “value.” The firm has published a summary of these findings, plus other research and opinions, in a quarterly digital magazine Creating Value.
Ignition has been cited as a leading advocate of the concept of value-based compensation for professional service firms and has been called upon by major trade and business organizations to present the principles and practices of value pricing.
Online Presences
Ignition Consulting Group established an online presence in 1998 with its first <span class="plainlinks">website</span>. In 2007 the firm developed the blog <span class="plainlinks">Propulsion</span>, which attracts page views from advertising and marketing professionals around the world.
