Infosurv, Inc. is an online market research firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.
History
Infosurv was founded in 1998 by Jared Heyman. Mr. Heyman, Infosurv's CEO and President, studied marketing at the University of Texas and worked at Bain & Company in their Dallas office. While still in college and interning at Austin-based Collective Technologies, he created his first market research survey and "saw how using the Internet could leverage and empower market research." He started Infosurv months after leaving Collective Technologies. His first client was JD Edwards.
Infosurv started out with two employees and in 2005 grew to seven employees. In 2008 the company made Inc. Magazine's list of the fastest growing private companies in America and as of July 2009, the company had approximately 16 employees. Inc. ranks Infosurv No. 38 in the Top 100 Businesses in Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, GA and No. 55 in the Top 100 Advertising & Marketing Companies. Infosurv has been recognized in the Wall Street Journal for internal programs it has started to foster innovation amongst employees
Infosurv is listed in Dun & Bradstreet's database of privately held corporations and is an active member of the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan Atlanta.
Services
Infosurv's primary focus is in the field of customer, employee, and B2B/B2C market research surveys. The company employs the Infosurv Experience a trademarked, proprietary market research survey process that includes a series of internally-developed "best practices" pertaining to survey design, administration and analysis.
The company has conducted research for over 300 clients globally including Fortune 500 corporations, government agencies, national associations, and non-profit organizations. Infosurv is frequently cited in news articles as the independent third party resource responsible for conducting many market research surveys including those on ID theft, American workers' safety, rogue trading, online banking security, communications service bundles, and IT security issues.
In 2008 Infosurv developed the Infosurv Concept Exchange (iCE), a patent pending prediction market service that is claimed to help clients predict the success of new products, packages, logos, advertisements and other concepts traditionally measured with monadic concept tests.
