Sean Fannin

Sean Fannin in an UK artist. He started successfully painting in 2005 and by 2006 worked in his studio/home at Southend-on-Sea (Essex) until relocation in 2011.
Industrial structural complexities, and jazz influences such as Dave Brubeck, Jimmy Smith, and Miles Davis are a central theme during creation of Fannin's artworks. His past statements regarding some over simplistic modern art have motivated him to produce various pieces of intense complexity and industrial bio breakdowns. Synapse 2009 and oubliette 2010.
He uses various mediums from acrylics and oils to fire protective paints & epoxy resins from building sites.
Fannin commented many of his works are exaggerated views from a high vantage point, throughout the many building sites he has worked in London over the years.
Fannins first exhibit was during the 2009 finals of the national open art - Duke of Richmond award in Chichester. After which his work has sold around the world and featured on cover artwork for American writer John Lee Brook's Blood In, Blood Out: The Violent Empire of the Aryan Brotherhood in 2010.
His works are currently being sold online (2012) these can be viewed on his website or Saatchi online artists.
Early life
Fannin was born in 1976 in Southend on sea in the UK and grew up on Canvey Island in Essex with his parents brother Simon and two sisters Samantha and Natalie.
After school Fannin briefly went to art college in Southend. Where only after few months Fannin lost interest, feeling the teachers had less interest in art than the students. He sought work at the London Stock Exchange where he began a job through exaggerated qualifications.
However he only held this position for a very short time, after which he delivered electrical goods for a local company before turning to industrial painting and building.
Several years later Fannin returned to creating artwork on canvas and posted his work on a popular public site. His work quickly gained growing interest and fans which lead to his website, exhibitions and publications.
Fannin founded his building company in 2012 and when he isn't on building sites he creates his adaptation of industrial art at his Westcliff on sea studio/office.

Fannin is a supporter of NSPCC, RSPCA and H.A.R.P. - Homeless Action Resource Project
Personal life
Fannin lives with his wife & daughter in Westcliff-on-Sea. He creates artwork from his home studio as well as running his own successful industrial painting company.<ref name=autogenerated1 />
