Seamus Coleman, born in Donegal on 11 October 1988, football player currently playing for Everton.
Career
Coleman began his career in Killybegs with St. Catherine's F.C. The right-footed defender started his professional career with Sligo Rovers, which offered him a contract after an impressive performance in a pre-season friendly.
In December 2008 it was reported that Coleman was having a trial with Birmingham City F.C. and that the club had offered a six-figure sum for the player. However, he didn't sign with the club and eventually moved to Everton in February 2009.
Ireland u21
Coleman is a current Irish under 21 international and also a member of the U-23 squad. He made his U21 international debut in a friendly match away to Sweden.
