Scott Pitt

Scott Pitt (born January 25, 1988 in Ottawa, ON, Canada) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Florida Everblades of the ECHL.
Pitt played a season with the Orleans Blues in the Central Canada Hockey League in 2006-07, before going to Mercyhurst University for 4 years, playing in every game during his college years, and earning third-team all-conference honors in both his sophomore and senior seasons. He finished his career at Mercyhurst leading the team in scoring, as one of only 13 players in school history to score more than 100 points in his career (132 total points in 4 years). After finishing the college hockey season in 2011, he joined the Everblades for the end of their season and their 2011 playoff run.
The next season saw Pitt spending most of his time in Florida, with a 6-game stint in the Charlotte Checkers.
Pitt earned the ECHL's "Rookie of the Month" award for March 2012, scoring 7 goals, 12 assists, and a +13 +/- rating, including 3 multi-point games (the best being a goal and 4 assists against Trenton on March 11).
