Satyabrat Sinha

Satyabrat Sinha teaches Political Science at Presidency University, Kolkata. He was former assistant editor of China Report, a journal of Institute of Chinese Studies, New Delhi which is published by international publisher Sage Publications and Research Officer at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, New Delhi. He teached peace and conflict at the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies and Management, Sikkim University and then moved to Chandigarh to join a national research institute before joining Presidency University in 2012. He also specializes in global governance and Northeast India. He qualified for Junior Research Fellowship of the University Grants Commission and received Ph.D. in International Relations from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Activities
He is deeply involved in the curricular development of peace and studies in India, besides teaching political science and international relations in Presidency University, Kolkata at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has presented a number of papers in seminars and conferences at both India as well as in abroad, and also contributes research articles in various journals and newspapers of repute and books edited by leading Indian scholars.
