Sanjeev K Jha

Sanjeev K Jha (born 22 October 1985) a native of small village called Sorpaniya in Dhaka, East Champaran, Bihar is an Indian film screenwriter, director and producer. He started his career as a journalist and worked with several news papers and magazines like Hindustan Times, Jansatta, Hari Bhoomi & Outlook. Jha worked as correspondent for "Aadhi Aabadi:Baat Nari Ki" on DD News.
His writing have been appeared in on Zee Tv’s Zing Channel, on Viacom 18's Colors Channel, on Sony Entertainment Television.
He assisted some filmmakers like Mani Ratnam, Anil Devgan and Onir in his upcoming feature film Veda He is also involve in Street theatre as Playwright and Performer with Mumbai based organization The Natural Streets for Performing Arts (NSPA Foundation).
Early life and education
Jha was born and brought up in Champaran, Bihar, India. His father Narendra Jha worked as Journalist with reputated media organizations and publishing houses like , Dainik Jagran, Prabhat Khabar & Press Trust of India. In 1992 Narendra Jha was elected as Vice-President of Bihar Press Mens Union.
After his schooling from Dhaka High School, East Champaran & Intermediate (10+2) from Langat Singh College, Muzaffarpur, Bihar Jha came to Delhi in 2005. Then he joined Jamia Millia Islamia and completed his Graduation in 2008 in Hindi Literature. He was Gold Medalist in his university with 88% marks in honours paper.
Sanjeev K Jha comes from a family of nationalists. His grandfather Ramesh Chandra Jha was a freedom fighter and a nationalist poet.
