Sandy Tanner

Sandy Tanner became a member of the Young Liberal Movement of Australia at age 17 and was elected President of the ACT and Federal Vice-President of the . During his time as Federal Vice-President, Tanner sat on the party’s board, where he helped coordinate the party’s youth campaigning efforts. He also worked with the International Republican Institute in Indonesia where he delivered training courses on leadership to young political activists in Aceh and Sulawesi.
Sandy is now a Campaign Manager for after spending over three years as a Senior Parliamentary Assistant to Andrew Rosindell M.P. at the House of Commons.
In July 2012 Sandy was appointed to serve on the committee of Liberal Party of Australia Abroad. Sandy conducts training on behalf of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, and recently spent time in Bosnia and Georgia training youth activists.
Sandy Tanner was elected as Secretary General of the IYDU, the youth wing of the International Democrat Union in June 2014.
