Sandip Pal

Sandip Pal is a journalist working at Hindustan Times Online. He worked as the editor of TellyChakkar for a year. Sandip emerged as a prominent figure after his interview with Shah Rukh Khan in 2018. He has won many awards including the prestigious win for the best script at the Kolkata International Film Festival.
Early life and education
Pal was born in Kolkata to Satya Nanda Pal, an accounts officer and Elizabeth Matthews, a superintendent. Pal did his elementary schooling in St.Joseph's Convent in Chandannagore. Finishing his schooling from an Anglo-Indian institution - Frank Anthony Public School, he moved to Mumbai where he completed his graduation from St.Xavier's College.
Career
He started his career with Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Later he started working with The Times of India as a sub-editor/journalist. After working there for 3 years, he got the opportunity to work with Fox Traveller as a travel journalist. He had covered Jordan extensively during that stint. After a period he became the Chief Content Producer of a web portal with Hindustan Times. His interviews with the biggest of the biggest in the industry from Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sunny Leone, Zoya Akhtar, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Kapur, Akshaye Khanna, Rajkummar Rao, Emraan Hashmi so on and so forth have made him one of the most sought interviewers in town.
He will also be debuting in the Bollywood film direction space.
Awards and recognitions
Sandip Pal was one of the three winners of the script writing competition at the prestigious Kolkata International Film Festival. Pal's 'With Love Veronica' was one among the three scripts to get selected and win the Best script title.
