Samuel Rush Condon

Samuel Rush Condon (born 1985) is an Australian artist specialising in painting and drawing.
Early life
Condon was born in Geelong in 1985. He has a Bachelor of Fine Art Drawing from the VCA and a Master of Fine Art from RMIT. He is a three-time finalist in the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship". was described by Christopher Allen in The Australian as "tiny but fine". Condon's 2015 Archibald portrait of John Jarratt titled 'Jarratt',
In 2016 his portrait of TV presenter Osher Günsberg was selected as a finalist in the Salon des Refusés, an exhibition of some of the rejected submissions to the Archibald Prize. The work titled 'Osher' continued Condon's theme of yellow background 3/4 portraits.
