Samantha Green is a former National and Missouri Beta Club President. She was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 16, 1990 to her parents Dave and Karen Green of Malden, Missouri. Samantha Green attended elementary, junior high and high school in Malden, Missouri where she was a winner of dozens of academic awards, voted class President, and was a drum major of the local Malden High School Green Wave Band. She was named a national winner of a Prudential Spirit of Community Award and in March 2008, Samantha Green was voted the Missouri Beta Club President in voting of 2200 high school students in Branson, Missouri. In June 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC, Samantha Green was voted National Beta Club President. She served her annual term and concluded her duties in June 2010 in Orlando Florida. During her term as National Beta Club President, Samantha Green has attended 28 Beta conventions and delivered speeches to over 100,000 high school and junior high school students around the country . Green graduated from Malden High School as the Salutatorian in May 2010 and currently attends the University of Missouri where she is enrolled in the Missouri School of Journalism. She currently serves as a member of the Mizzou Tour Team and is President of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at Mizzou.
