Sam Goundar

Sam Goundar is an academic in information technology at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in Tauranga, New Zealand. Prior to this, he was a Lecturer at the University of Fiji and the University of the South Pacific. He has worked as an IT Manager for the Office of the Attorney General of Fiji and held other IT Management positions.
He was recently selected as an Emerging Leader of the Digital World by Diplo Foundation.
His research interest includes cloud computing, specifically the potential opportunities and issues for developing countries and using mobile devices in education, again its impact on education for developing countries.
