Homer Langrill was born in Los Angeles, California in 1953 to James and Nancy Langrill. Homer Langrill is a graduate of Colonia High School, Colonia, New Jersey. At the age of 17 yrs,' Langrill was the lead vocalist for the recording group, "The Orient Express". He has a Platinum album and two gold 45's to his credit. When Langrill was 27 years of age, he purchased a Bank in Hong Kong, the Security Overseas Bank and eventually moved to Switzerland where he was the owner of a private investment bank. In his spare time, Langrill went to Culinary School, Academie Culinaire de France, and eventually ended opening several restaurants while maintaining his banking empire. Langrill was also voted a Director of the International Monetary Exchange Corp. in Washington D.C. In the winter of 1984 Homer Langrill became involved in the political scandal known as the Iran- Contra, Iran Scam Affair. While in the country of Guatemala, delivering approximately $17,500,000.00 in Iranian currency to the head of the Nicaraguan Conta Rebel Leader Lorenzo Lacayo; Langrill, and two of his associates Hernando Giraldo Escobar Gaveria and Jack Charles Turner were kidnapped at gun point. There, they were all brutally beaten, tortured and left for dead in Granja Penal de Pavon, a prison in Guatemala City notorious for housing political prisoners. In December of 1995, and through the help of friends, family and prison insiders, Langrill and his associates made a daring midnight escape, fleeing to the country of El Salvador. Upon his arrival back into the United States, Langrill was indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia for his role in the Iran Contra - Iran Scam Affair. Upon conclusion of a long court process, Langrill plead NO Contest to (1) charge of a (45) count indictment and was sentenced to serve (5) years in Federal Prison. While incarcerated, Langrill spent most of his time traveling from one prison to the next, teaching inmates the fine art of cooking. In 2004, Langrill was nominated and unanimously became a Vice Chairman of President George Bush's economic advisory council. Langrill was the owner of three restaurants in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the president of a small investment house assisting entrepreneurs in business development, and he is also the founder of the La Bon Table product lines of "au" Le Cadeau Natural Mountain Spring Water, Chef Homer Gourmet Dinner Entrees, and the Z CAC Controlled Atmosphere Cargo Container which was recently sold to SIPP International Industries, Inc. for $7,000,000.00. But, his success didn't come easy. He has been slandered on blogs as such as investorshub.com and hotstockmarket.com by people who attempted to use his past criminal history against him for extortion and black mail purposes. Langrill and others filed civil complaints in the U. S. District Court, Southern District of Nevada against these individuals. The case has since been dismissed because Langrill and Le Bon Table shareholders chose not to pursue them civilly, but criminally. Today, Langrill is completing pre production of a instructional cooking show which he will host. The Chef Homer Lee Thomas Show will be aired world- wide in seven different languages. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and is a big proponent of internet slander, the Juvenile Diabetes Association, the Nevada Diabetes Association, and the Republican Party. Documents obtained by the government of Hong Kong and Switerland revealed that Langrill had banking offices on Canton Ave. Kowloon Hong Kong and offices on Renweg platz Zurich, Switzerland. Confirmed graduating certificate issuance from Academie Culinaire de France on February 19, 1983. Confirmed by attorney Lewis Johnson of Falls Church, Virginia of the Law firm Wald, Harkrader and Ross. Confirmed by Susan Vincent Langley of Marrietta , Georgia, Langrill's ex wife. Confirmed also by Lewis Johnson, Langrill's Attorney, Langrill's brother Robert of Reno, Nevada and Carlos Giron of Guatemala City. Confirmed in personal interviews with Guatemala attorney Carlos Giron, Jack Charles Turner, Hernando Giraldo, Homer Langrill, and public records at Granja Penal de Pavon. I had also discovered a screen play which substantiates a vast amount of information which I did not feel appropriate for this historical. The screen play was written by Sydney F. Mourning of Austin,Texas entitled "The IranScam Affair which is libraried at the Screen Writers Guild in Hollywood, California. Although, the U.S. embassy in Guatemala has been quoted in news articles and in Langrills pre sentence investigation reports as stating that they believed that he did not escape, but was released by a Guatemalan judge that may have been bribed. The screen play was written, "based on a true story". Gary Adwar, Sidney Mounings attorney and manager believes the screen play to be accurate, which substantiates the escape. As confirmed through court documents, United States vs. Homer Langrill, in the Eastern District of Virginia, and Langrill's criminal attorney, Thomas Berger of Alexandria, Virginia. This was verified through several (12) ex inmates who were students under Langrill at various Federal Institutions. Also verified by freelance writer Zora Rist of Zurich, Switzerland in an article discovered on Langrills defunct website, www.chefhomer.com This appointment was made by Congressman Tom Reynolds of New York in 2005. Congressman Tom Reynolds also nominated Langrill for the Ronald Reagan Presidential award in 2006. These claims were further verified through the Wall St. Journal, and facsimiles from the RNC that were saved by Langrill. Clark County Nevada records indicate that Langrill owned (3) restaurants in Las Vegas; Moon Doggies, Le Cadeau, and Bugsy's Supper Club. Further verified by through the Clark County Health District. Nevada Secretary of State records show Langrill as proprietor of First Fidelity and is current going concern. Confirmed by G.
