S. R. H. James

Simon James is a Latin and Greek schoolmaster at Westminster Under School. He has been teaching there for almost 30 years, teaching Latin, sport and Greek.
However, he has found success as a published author. He is the author of the series, Latin I, II & III, which offer an introduction to Latin going up to the standard required for A-level. He is also the author of Latin Matters, a book which explains the importance of Latin and London Film Location Guide, which covers the locations of film shots in London. James is believed to have spent 10 years researching the subject. James also coaches football at the Under School. James also helps organise an annual trip to Pompeii, with his colleague, A. J. Downey, who has written his own book, Pytheas, for Greek. James also writes the annual General Knowledge quiz for the whole school. Marks range from 7 to 91.
In his spare time, James is a James Bond enthusiast and Chelsea F.C. fan.
