Shotgun Bo Rivers; (Born Richard Earl White September 7, 1980)
Is an American author. His books consist primarily of Western fiction novels, and Historical Fiction, and Poetry, Which he began to Self-Publish in 2009. Winning an editor's Choice Award for the Poem "This Page" in 2008 at Poetry.com
Early Life:
Richard Earl White was born September 7, 1980 to his parents John White Jr. and Margaret (Ford) Zaleski.
He grew up in a little town called Danby, VT. He attended Castleton State College in Castleton, VT in 1998 for a Bachelor Arts Degree in Theater Arts, which he never finished. He took a Leave of absence from college in 1999 to join the United States Army
for money to continue school, however the time spent in the military changed his path forever.
At 22 years old, he returned from overseas and became a full time Professional Bull rider, and amateur Bareback Bronc rider. Richard, found very much love and passion in the sport of rodeo, and learned to respect and passionately love the animals of the sport of rodeo as well as the Cowboy's and Cowgirl's he befriended along his travels in the rodeo.

Works of Interest:
since 1993 Richard had been writing publishing poetry and short stories in school papers. He self-published
his first book (Poetry) in 2009 titled Pages Full of Memories, that includes poetry from his childhood,
college, military, and rodeo.
His second book is a book of short stories that tell the life of nine rodeo contestants,Rodeo Dayz
written by Ritchie White, Timothy Bultman, Tamara Nalley, Eric Berghammer, Leo Martin, Wayne Martin,
Josh Mead, Chris Mead, and Donnie Baxter. Tells the story of their experience in rodeo, a biography of
each author and a history of rodeo in New York dating to the 1950's.
His new works consist of a mini-series, and a novella Series. Laramie's Code was published in July 2012
with three more Ebooks to finish the mini-series in upcoming 2012, and Laramie's Thunder Novella Series also
coming in late 2012, early 2013.
