Ryan Tavlin

Ryan Tavlin is an American playwright, screenwriter, and producer.
His produced stage credits include:
* Somewhere, There's Still Good News
* Treaty of Long Island City
* Flash
His first feature, Counting Backwards, was produced by Montague Films in 2006. The romantic dramedy's story is centered around Joe, a 30 year-old cancer patient who met the girl of his dreams the night before his vexing diagnosis. It enjoyed a celebrated World Premiere at the 2007 Santa Barbara International Film Festival and won numerous awards at , The Chashama Film Festival, The LaFemme Film Festival, and on the The Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers. His second feature, Miracle, is based on the novel Miracle of Castel di Sangro by author Joe McGinniss and is being developed for Last Straw Productions.
In 2009, Ryan co-wrote a story for the 7th Season of hit CBS crime drama "Without A Trace" with friend and collaborator Anthony LaPaglia. The episode, titled "Devotion", centered on 17 year-old Stacey Tan, last seen on video being agitated by her abductor, who goes missing in a Chinatown conspiracy.
