He has written quite a few theatrical productions, which reflect his deep spirituality and humor. He also has a passion for Talmud, and he founded the Cultural Association RomeForJews, which aims to teach the Jewish history of Rome. He is often called upon to act as a docent for scholars and international visitors to Rome and the Vatican Museums. He divides his time between Rome and New York.

In 2008, Doliner co-authored The Sistine Secrets: Michelangelo’s Hidden Messages and How he Defied the Pope, with Rabbi Benjamin Blech. Together, they tell the story of how Michelangelo embedded messages of brotherhood, tolerance, and freethinking in his work on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel to work to encourage follow travelers to challenge the repressive Roman Catholic Church of the time. Doliner and Blech seek to expose the little known subversive and revolutionary messages of Michelangelo’s work in the Sistine Chapel.
