St. Bridget School

St. Bridget School is a private, co-educational Roman Catholic school located in Richmond, Virginia. The school serves students in Kindergarten through grade 8. It is affiliated with St. Bridget Roman Catholic Church, which is connected to the school. The school was founded in 1952 and became a Blue Ribbon school in 2007.
Curriculum
The school focuses on a holistic education with an added focus on Roman Catholic values. Students begin their foreign language studies in Kindergarten with a dual focus on French and Spanish. Students learn through listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as celebrating cultural events such as Mardi Gras and Cinco de Mayo. Grades 6-8 continue the language study in their choice of French, Spanish, or Latin for high school credit. Students are required to obtain three high school credits before graduation: foreign language, Algebra I, and world history.
Sports
Students have the opportunity to play a variety of sports, some in cooperation with St. Gertrude High School and Benedictine High School. They can play tennis, field hockey, football, basketball, track, baseball, and lacrosse.
