RoutoMessaging

RoutoMessaging (Routo Telecommunications Ltd), is a telecommunications company, based in the United Kingdom. Founded in 2002, RoutoMessaging provides services to send and receive Short Message Service (SMS) and Multimedia Message Service (MMS) around the world. The sales and accounting office is in London, while support and development staff are based in Belgrade.
RoutoMessaging obtained its own UK mobile operator credentials in 2005, including its own line range, Mobile Country Code (MCC) and Mobile Network Code (MNC).
Time Line
26.09.2002 - Routo Telecommunications Ltd is established; 1st version of SMS Gateway is developed.
01.05.2005 - Operations centre established in Belgrade.
31.05.2006 - Addition of SMPP and HTTP API's.
27.10.2008 - Desktop SMS application is installed.
09.06.2009 - Global HLR Look Up service is launched.
SMS Services
* Bulk SMS - Ability to send messages out en masse throughout the world. Customers can connect to the SMS gateway via HTTP or SMPP API, Web SMS or Desktop Sender.
* Mobile Terminated (MT) Messaging or SMS Transit - (SMS and MMS) sent by the Application and terminated to the subscriber’s mobile phone.
* Mobile Originated (MO) Messaging - messages originating from the subscriber with or without a premium charge sent and terminated to the Application.
* Premium Rate Messaging - collecting payment for services via short codes and WAP billing.
* Global HLR Look Up - enables Application to determine the validity of a destination number, the operator name and the SIM card's IMSI.
Client Demographic
RoutoMessaging has clients ranging from Mobile Operators, Aggregators, Social Networking organisations and Enterprise companies. Clients use RoutoMessaging's service to send and receive messages, either to use as marketing tools, revenue streams and improving customer services.
