Rose Torossian

Rose Torossian was born on 24 June 1980 in Beirut, Lebanon. She is of Armenian ancestry. She was raised in Sydney, Australia and attended Willoughby Girls' High School. Rose is a Progressive Liberal who is a candidate for the seat of Fowler in the up-coming 2007 Federal Election against sitting Labor member, Julia Irwin. Recently, the misreporting by The Fairfield Advance newspaper that Rose Torossian wasn't the preselected candidate for Fowler led Centrebet to call off all bets for the Fowler electorate. Rose is also the youngest female candidate in the liberal party running for the 2007 Federal Election In the final results of the 2007 Federal Election the Liberal Party was annihilated. Fortunately, Rose Torossian, with another liberal candidate, received the lowest swing against her on a national scale. This was reported in the Australian Daily Telegraph. She also received the best result in all of western sydney. Rose had campaigned very hard and was extremely dedicated to her supporters and the electorate.
