Robertson State Primary School is a public primary school located in Robertson, which is in the south of Brisbane City, the state of Queensland, Australia.

ROBERTSON -SOME INTERESTING BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Robertson State School was named after the local suburb of' ‘ROBERTSON’ (in the south of Brisbane, the Queensland state of Australia) which was officially named in July 1967 in memory of Doctor William Nathaniel Robertson who was a member of the University of Queensland Senate. Authorities in Queensland were pleased to see that new suburbs in close proximity to University of Queensland would be named with a name linked to the history of the University. Nathan, Robertson, Macgregor and Griffith are all names associated with the history of the University. Griffith University nearby was founded in 1967, followed by Macgregor State Primary and High Schools.
HISTORY OF ROBERTSON PRIMARY SCHOOL
Due to the growing numbers of families in the area and the attempt to distribute school enrolment, the opening of Robertson State Primary School marked the establishment of the third new school in as many years in this area to provide primary education. It has four specialist classes, each with a mixture of gifted children from adjacent years of classes (e.g., a group of gifted children from year 1 and year 2 forming one class). With their maxim "Achievement through Effort", the School performance in all things academic is well received by parents.<ref name="history"/>
Student behaviour is also emphasized in the School.<ref name="myschool"/> Parents annually rate the behaviour of students highly, and the uniform code is compulsory as determined by the Parents' Association.<ref name="history"/>
