Riftforge

Riftforge is an upcoming online tactical RPG set in a fantasy universe. It is a graphical browser game implemented using HTML5 at the client-side and subsequently can be played on any device with a browser without the need for any plug-ins. An open playtest has been announced on March 31 with European players getting invites first.
Background
The game world's central location is the Riftforge, a hub structure that seemingly exists out of space and time. When a Rift portal opens, players are able to explore different worlds. The first Rift portal leads to the immense landmass of Manirak. It is home to dozens of warring tribes, feuding city-states, and two empires fighting for supremacy.
Gameplay
Each creates a House (e.g. House Stark), which can send multiple commanders and their troops to combat missions. Completing missions and campaigns results in a constant progression of new skills, better equipment, and elite units. When one starts a mission, a single commander and his troops are transported to a location on the map. The troops can use normal attacks as well as action skills to achieve victory. The commander has access to special, tactical skills that can be activated at critical points and affect the whole battle.
Archetypes
Riftforge is based on the three classic RPG archetypes: Warrior, Rogue, and Mage. Commanders and their troops come from the three branches of the Riftforge military: Guardians, Rangers, and Raiders. Each archetype comes with its own unique commanders and units, with customizable skills, specializations, and equipment.
