Richard Haskell

Richard E. Haskell, Sr (born 1 October 1957) is the author of Signature Update and Personal Economy.
Professional career

Haskell is President and CEO of Signature Management,LLC, and Sr. Economist for Signature Economic Advisors from 1999 to present. The Signature Management Group of companies provide economic and market insights into a complex world of finance, economic and political policy, personal and corporate decision making. He is the author of Signature Update and publishes economic and market advisory to subscribers through weekly newsletter publications, and various blog platforms.
Prior to 1999 he was a President/CEO of National Media Management,Inc. He previously worked as the Executive Vice President for Feature Films for Families in Utah, and Vice President of Dean Witter Reynolds, in San Francisco, New York and Austin, Texas.

Haskell earned his Masters of Economics at the University of Utah, where he is currently a Doctoral fellow in Economics.
He serves on the Board of Trustees for Itineris Early College High School, a Charter High School under the Utah Department of Education and on the Board of Directors of Salt Lake American Diversity, a Utah based 501(c)(3) focused on advancing diversity and acceptance groups in Utah and the surrounding region.
In 1984 he got his Bachelor of Science in Family Financial Planning and Counseling at Brigham Young University.
He was selected by the National Jaycee's Council to receive the Outstanding Young Men of America Award for 1983,1986, and 1990, and was appointed to the Dean witter President's Club for outstanding achievement in 1986 and 1987. In 1986 and 1987 he was appointed to the California State Board of the International Association for Financial Planning and in 1999-2006 he served as a member of the Impact Financial Inner's Circle, where the Leader of the Year award was presented to him in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005.
Haskell now lives in Utah with his Wife and most of his children and grandchildren, he is active in various civic and religious organizations, and is an active wood worker,gardener, and backpacker. He was also recognized in Who's Who in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
