Allied Business Schools, Inc., (Allied Schools) opened its doors over 15 years ago with a vision to provide students with a convenient, self-paced way to complete training for in-demand careers. Since 1992, Allied Schools’ certificate and diploma courses have enabled working professionals, stay-at-home parents, military service members and disabled individuals to get the training and credentials they need for career advancement, professional development or personal growth through the convenience and affordability of distance education.
Allied is nationally accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally-recognized accrediting agency

As defined by the DETC, accreditation, "assures students that the institution operates on a sound financial basis, has an approved program of study, qualified instructors, adequate facilities and equipment, approved recruitment and admissions policies, and advertises its courses truthfully."

Allied National High School has received regional accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) giving it the distinction of being an approved online high school that focuses on student learning and achievement.
Commission on International Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA)
Allied National High School is also regionally accredited by The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA), an accrediting organization dedicated to advancing the quality of education through accreditation.
History
The school was founded in the early '90s by current Chairman of the Board Jay Achenbach and focused exclusively on training future real estate agents in California. Today, Allied Schools is operated by Jay Achenbach's son, George Achenbach, who is Board of Directors of the school and is responsible for approximately 350 employees and more than 25 different career courses.
