Retro Horror Remix

Formed in 2005, Retro Horror Remix is the name of an underground fan edit label. They focus on releasing fan edits of obscure late 1970s and early 1980s horror films. Currently, they have over 25 fan edits officially released online via various torrent sites.

In 2007, Retro Horror Remix produced and directed their first film. It was an homage to the 1984 Fred Olen Ray film "SCALPS", simply titled "SCALPS II: THE RETURN OF D.J.". The film was released online for free and had a small local theatrical run. Also in 2007, Retro Horror Remix was banned from the notorious fan edit website "fanedit.org" for improper conduct twice and then permanently.

In 2008, Retro Horror Remix produced and directed their second film, an unofficial remake of the 1985 film "HORROR HOUSE ON HIGHWAY 5" titled just "HORROR HOUSE". An official release is due online in Fall of 2008.

Retro Horror Remix remains on the forefront of the horror fan edit community. They have the most quality horror fan edits released and remain highly controversial today. Their edits of "THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE", "CHAOS" and the infamous "Grindhouse" editions still remain the most discussed in the online community.

Retro Horror Remix continues to release various horror fan edits independently through their website on a semi-monthly basis.
