Reid Boucher (born September 8, 1993) is an American ice hockey player who currently plays for the US National Team Development Program, but has been committed to play for the Michigan State Spartans men's ice hockey team, which competes in NCAA's Division I in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association conference, since 2008. Boucher has been compared to Brett Hull by some, due to his quick shot release, ability to find open ice, and an aptitude to finish plays. Ranked 113th among North American players, Boucher was drafted in the 4th round, 99th overall, by the New Jersey Devils during the 2011 NHL Entry Draft on June 25, 2011.
