Reece Wooldridge (born 17 February 1975 in Sydney, Australia) is the owner and director of the Australian sports goal post and flag pole manufacturing companies PILA group and Premier Poles. He is responsible for introducing sustainable fibreglass goal posts and flag poles to the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific markets and PILA group is the only company to date to sell fibreglass goal posts and flag poles in Australia. Wooldridge began his career manufacturing yacht masts in Sydney. As carbon fibre masts quickly replaced aluminium masts, he saw a gap in the Australian market for fibreglass goal post and flag pole products. Wooldridge travelled extensively to Europe, Asia and the USA to develop his knowledge of the fibreglass manufacturing industry before introducing these sustainable products to the Australian market. Outside of PILA group, Wooldridge has enjoyed extensive worldwide travel and has been competitive in surfing and rugby league. |
