Randy E. Pruett is the historian for the Miss Texas pageant, the state preliminary to the Miss America pageant. Born October 13, 1955, Randy became involved in the Miss Texas Organization with his family in 1965 at age 10. In 2005, he was inducted into the “Miss Texas Hall of Honor” for his years of volunteer service. He has judged Miss America state pageants, talent shows and other competitions throughout the country. Randy is an Accredited Business Communicator and a Certified Association Executive. Currently, Randy works in the Dallas office of Pierpont Communications and resides in Carrollton, Texas. He also enters cooking contests for a hobby and has had several award winning recipes published.
