Randall L. Ridd

Randall L. Ridd has been a member of the general presidency of the Young Men organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since May 14, 2013.
The son of a builder, Ridd served in the U.S. Army while working as an x-ray technician. During this time, his leaders in the LDS Church encouraged him to serve as a full-time missionary for the church. Ridd determined to do that and served in the Mexico North Mission. Following his return, he married Tamina Roark in 1975 and they are the parents of four children.
Ridd graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah and has worked at IBM. He is now self-employed in the investment real estate and securities industries.
In the LDS Church, Ridd has been a ward Young Men president, counselor in bishoprics, stake high councilor, counselor in a stake presidency, and president of the Ecuador Guayaquil North Mission. He was serving as a member of the Young Men General Board at the time he was appointed to succeed Adrián Ochoa as a member of the Young Men general presidency.
