Rajendra Prasad Singh (1930-2007) is a noted Hindi poet and originator of 'Navgeet' (Neo-lyric) in the history of Hindi lyric poetry. He edited and published the first anthology of Hindi neo-lyrics 'Geetangini' from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India. This apart there are several poetry collections (Bhoomika, Madini, Digvadhoo, Sanjeevan Kahaan, Dayari Ke Janmdin, Ujali Kasouti, Shabdyatra & Prasthanbindu) and also collections of Navgeet (Aao Khuli Bayar, Raat Aanks Moond Kar Jagi, Bhde Sadak Par, Gazar Aadhi Raat Ka,Lal neel Dhara) published at various point of time.
These apart, Rajendra Prasad Singh also appear as a literary critic and thinker in his books like 'sahitya ki Paristhiki' & 'Bharateey Sangeet Ka Samajshastreey Sandarbh'.<ref name="google.co.in"/>
