Vishnu Saxena

Vishnu Saxena (also known as Dr. Vishnu Saxena, Geetkar Vishnu Saxena) (born January 12, 1959) is a Hindi poet and author. From Sikandra Rao, Aligarh, India.
Early life and Career
Dr. Vishnu Saxena is one of the leading poets (Geetkar) of India. His poetry has touched the hearts of millions of his fans in India and abroad and his presence in all major Kavi Sammelans in India indicates his high demand. He is well known for his style of poetry recital and melodious singing. He is master of expressing human emotions in words that will touch your heart. Over the years he has received many awards and recognitions among which a few and the foremost are “Manhar Puruskar” from Sahitya Kala Manch and various awards and recognitions from many prestigious organizations such as Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Rastriya Ekta Manch, Janhit Seva Sansthan and Nirjhar Sahitya Sansthan. Gopal singh nepaali award. He has recited poetry on all India radio and many TV channels at more than 100 occasions. He is master of expressing human emotions in words that will touch your heart. He is widely published in all major Hindi Sahitya Magazines, and has published a collection of his poems titled “Madhuban Mile Na Mile”, “Astha Ka Shikhar”, “Khushbu Lutata Hun Main”. Dr. Vishnu Saxena has performed in USA, U.K., Thailand, Israel, Dubai, Hongkong and Oman. He was invited and participated in India’s prestigious national Kavi Sammelan at Red Fort in January 2001,2003,2005,2010.
