Anil Shastri Sharad is a Hindi poet, lyricist & writer. He has not written only in Hindi but also he has written in English, Urdu & Sanskrit. The original name of poet is Anil Kumar. He was born on 10-9-1963 in Bisalpur town of district Pilibhit in U.P. Presently he is living in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He has written famous book 'Swarnkalash'-a collection of poems in Hindi.He has also edited a Smarika 'shraddhasuman' on life & work of veteran social worker Lala Bhimsen Arya. A video album and audio album (in 4 parts) of his poems has been released by Uttaranchal Sahitya Academy. Shastri has been awarded the Rashtreeya Pratibha Samman 2009 and an Honourary degree of "Kavya Karn" by Akhil Bharateeya Sahitya Sangam, Udaipur(Rajasthan)for his book Svarnkalsh. He has also been awarded by Pandit Arun Kumar Triptahi Smriti Samman under pratibha Samman Yojana 2009 by Sahityik Sanskritik Kala Sangam Academy Pariyava, Pratapgarh (U.P.)for his book Svarnkalsh only.

Biography
The original name of Anil Shastri Sharad is Anil Kumar. He is a great Hindi poet, lyricist, writer and thinker. He is not only a writer but also a good singer of his poems.He has written mainly in Hindi but also in English, Urdu and Sanskrit. His poetry and contemporary writing is mainly in Hindi. His research papers and articles on management and Economics are mainly in English. In his writing he has covered all the aspects of social, political and human life and problems related to it. His poetry and writing is mainly based on nationalistic and humanistic ideology. Through his writing he tries to build a better society by cultivating noble values and ethical practices. He has attacked strongly on evil practices prevailing in the social and political system. He is a firm believer in rich Indian cultural heritage and great ancient Vedic knowledge, philosophy and civilization. He has received numerous awards for his various works. Early life
During his early life he studied in Vedang Vidyalaya Gurukul Manokamana Jahanabad, Pilibhit (UP).After this he switched over to Lalit Sankrit Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Biasalpur(Pilibhit,U.P.)and finished his Shastri from Sampurnanand Sankrit University,Varanasi. Afterwards he changed his line of education.He came to Dehradun and did his M.Com,M.A.(Economics)and MBA (Finance).Initially he joined teaching profession. Later he joined Ordnance Factory as a Store Keeper in 1991.In 1992 he joined Cooperative Department after getting selected through UP Public Service Commission.He had started writing from a very early age.
