William Brown, professionally known as Compa is a British electronic musician and DJ from Clitheroe, Lancashire, who began releasing music in 2011. His music has been released by a variety of different record labels, of which the most notable are Deep Medi Musik, Boka Records & WX/WL white label series. Career Compa's first major release was his 2012 single on Boka Records, followed by a well-received remix of Mavado's 'Dem A Talk' track, which was noted to have sold out worldwide in its first week on-sale which was released by WX/WL white label series. In 2012, he signed to Mala (Digital Mystikz)'s Deep Medi Musik label, but he did not release his debut single for the label until December 2013. Compa has played DJ sets at notable worldwide clubs and events such as Fabric, London, where he played every room of the club in 2013, TBA Brooklyn in New York, NY, Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO, Solar Beach in Istanbul, Turkey, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, UK, Seminal Dubstep club night FWD in London, UK and Outlook Festival in Pula, Croatia.
