Rachit Kapoor

Rachit Kapoor (born 27 September 1985) is an Indian cricketer who played for Delhi in domestic cricket. He is a right-hand opening batsman and an off-break bowler. He played for Delhi in under-16, 19, and 22.
Kapoor is an alumnus of Hans Raj College, Delhi, where he studied English Literature between 2003 and 2006. Kapoor was among the youngest players to represent SAIL-Steel Authority of India at the age of 15 as a cricket professional from 2000-2002.
Kapoor was the highest run scorer in DDCA President's XI Tour to England in 2004-05. He scored a century in the first match and two half centuries in other matches.
Kapoor was also named in the Delhi Ranji Trophy squad of 2005 but according to sources he was not available for the season and was known to have gone for higher studies.
