Rachel Huxford

Rachel Huxford was born in Stroud, Gloucestershire on 11 April 1976 and educated at Archway School, Stroud and University College, Durham (English Literature).
After a brief spell as one of the world's few wingwalkers, Rachel began her public relations career with AeroSuperBatics Ltd, parent company of the then Cadbury's Crunchie Wingwalking Team and the Mitsubishi Motors Flying Shogun Display Team.
Rachel went on to become Head of Corporate Commmunications for the Air Cadet Association before being given responsibility for world-wide PR for the UK's national military team: The Red Arrows.. During her time in charge of PR for the Red Arrows, Rachel was responsible for overseas ambassadorial tours to over 20 countries in Europe, the Far and Middle East on behalf of the UK government. Her efforts earned her inclusion in the 2006 New Year Honours List.
Rachel left the Red Arrows in 2008 to found Oak PR, specialising in promoting rural businesses.
Rachel now lives in Lincolnshire with her partner, Ben.
