Jean-Pierre Daikhi

Jean-Pierre Daikhi (born January 22, 1965 in Paris) is a French former football goalkeeper who played 2 times for the French national Junior football team.

Daikhi began his professional career with Paris Saint-Germain in 1982 as a junior moving on to newly promoted first division the following year. He found his way into the France squad, being selected as second Goalkeeper for the 1984 European Championship which France won. He was number one at the 1983 Junior European Championship, saving a famous penalty from Benatto in the quarter final against Italy. His career continued until 1985 when a knee injury abruptly ended his professional career.The sport media at the time said "...he was on his way to become one of the best Goalkeepers in Europe..."
