Semih Aydilek

Semih Aydilek is a association football player born 16 January 1989 in Germany, Frankfurt born to Turkish parents.

He is well known in Germany and he has made a name for himself there. He played in the UEFA under-19 qualifying tournament. Aydilek was part of the side that eventually ran out successful winners of the tournament. He featured regularly for Horst Hrubesch's side in that tournament.

Aydilek joined Birmingham City as a striker in 2007 after academy coach Terry Westley managed to convince him that moving to England was better for his career. In Germany, he had been a youth team member of his home town club, Eintracht Frankfurt. He has been issued with squad number 24 for City's first team in the 2008-9 season.

AS Monaco of France wanted to take the player on trial when he was with Eintracht Frankfurt and offered Yugoslavian player Stefan Milojevic.
