Rachel Brooksby is a television presenter based in London, England. She was born Rachel Woodhead in Leeds, England on 18 December 1976. She studied Textile Engineering at the University of Leeds and UNSW in Sydney, Australia, and post-graduate Acting at the Drama Centre in London. Formerly an actress and sometime performance artist, Rachel most prominently played Teacher in Channel 4 drama Tina Takes a Break in 2001 and Celia in Stephen Fry's Bright Young Things in 2005. As a performance artist she appeared at venues including Camden Arts Centre. Now a full-time presenter, she specializes in Science and Technology.<ref name="GP" /> Rachel also runs her own successful property company and is a keen cricket fan supporting Yorkshire and England. |
