History
Decision Management Company, Inc. dba Questys Solutions was founded in 1980 by Vojin Hadzi-Pavlovic, who is a recipient of the AIIM industry association Master and Laureate of Information Technologies designations. Originally focused on large enterprise level document management, scanning, and content management solutions. The firm turned its focus toward the small and medium enterprise by developing its Pro line of document management software and large scale channel distribution. The firm's change of focus was driven by a number of reasons. Most notably, the benefits that document management could bring to the small and medium sized businesses SMB were far outweighed by the price tag associated with the technology. Although the hardware costs associated with the overall solution, such as scanners and other input devices, had fallen as the technology advanced, the cost of the software and associated services had not followed suit. The firm is currently focused on bringing the large cost savings of document management and scanning to organizations of all sizes and budgets.
All of the outstanding common stock of Decision Management Company, Inc. dba Questys Solutions was acquired by VillageEDOCS, Inc. (OTCBB:VEDO) on 1 August 2008 making the company a wholly owned subsidiary of VillageEDOCS, Inc..
