DAXKO is a United States-based computer software company that provides software as a service solutions and related services for nonprofit organizations, particularly YMCAs and JCCs.
Products
DAXKO Operations comprises membership, program registration, financial development, accounts receivable, financial transaction processing, and reporting. DAXKO Accounting includes modules for general ledger, budgeting, accounts payable, reporting and system administration. MobileFit is a self-service web-based and kiosk-based system for managing and tracking wellness and fitness of members.
History
DAXKO was founded in 1998 and began by serving its customers with an online registration and financial transaction processing system called iSignUpNow.com. After delving into other markets, including a website content management system for university athletic departments (University ST) and an information technology services firm serving small and medium-sized businesses in the Birmingham, Alabama area, DAXKO began to focus on YMCAs and JCCs exclusively in 2003.
In 2006, DAXKO was recognized as the “Small Technology Company of the Year” in the state of Alabama by the AITA, won the “Innovation in Teambuilding” award from the Emory Goizueta Business School's Eagles Program, was named one of “Birmingham’s Best Places to Work” by the Birmingham Business Journal, and was among the topseven fastest growing companies in the Birmingham metro area for the fourth straight year. In June 2008, DAXKO was named the 17th "Best Small Company to Work for in America" by the Society for Human Resource Management.
As of January 2009, DAXKO has over 360 associations in 46 states utilizing their software products.
