Quality Objectives

Quality objectives is one of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standards. The purpose of the quality objectives is to determine the conformity of the requirements (customers and organizations), facilitate effective deployment and improve the quality management system.
ISO 9001 quality objectives requirements
The requirements (mentioned in 5.4.1) for quality objectives are:
*Set quality targets in related tasks and levels
*Incorporate objectives to meet product requirements · Quality objectives must be measurable
*Maintain the objectives of this quality in line with the quality policy · Make all employees aware of the importance of the objectives and how they can help them achieve (paragraph 6.2.2d).
Quality objectives and quality policy
Quality goals must be a result of the organization's quality policy. The development of the quality management system must be a strategic decision for the business, and therefore senior management should provide necessary guidance and leadership, starting with the development of quality policy and its objectives.
Quality policy and objectives must be consistent with the scope of the QMS and must complement other business objectives of the institution such as those related to growth, finance, profitability, environment, occupational health and safety. Sales or marketing strategies must not be neutral with quality management.
