Quadel InfoCenter

Quadel InfoCenter is a graphical website browser programmed in the BASIC programming language. The software displays information using the Trident engine which enables it to display web pages along the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol(HTML) variation. The software comes under a "free use" license although source code is not available to the public. InfoCenter is built to function on all 32bit Microsoft Windows versions of the operating system and is limited to Windows Experience(XP) and Windows Vista. Compatibility on other platforms and previous versions on Windows are unknown. The installer of the application is packaged in a Microsoft Installation(MSI) package. The application utilizes the Dot Net Framework 3.0 from Microsoft. The stable version of InfoCenter can be found for download and use. []
The software features specialized applications such as note taking tools, and a Google services explorer to aid consumers in internet browsing. Its functionalities include quick search, and website load completion indicators. Several integrated software that assist the main application are bundled into the software itself but deployed externally through external shell deployment. The interface and its specialization is specifically programmed to enable the speedy access of information through more directive search methods and a simplistic interface. After its latest deployment by the author through an academic Computer Sciences project, it has been considerably noted by implementing it onto computer networks.
InfoCenter is proven to be extremely effective in institutions and other academic establishments due to its low computer resource consumption, and its mode of operation, eliminating history, cookie or password storage in the computer and preventing the end user to gain access to functionalities of a network where he/she does not have administrative rights. The user interface also prevents personalization such as page bookmarking or application setting manipulation, further enhancing its compatibility towards public information access centers.
