Progressive Utrecht Subversive Centre for Information Interchange (PUSCII) was a free Internet workplace and hacklab that operated from the 2000 until 2007 in Utrecht. It was Utrecht's first Internet café and served as a meeting point for squatters, media activists, and open source enthousiasts. After 2007 it became a hosting collective without its own physical space. Like its Amsterdam-based sister project ASCII, PUSCII operated in squats. It started in the Ubica squat, and in 2005 moved to Stationsplein 7, eventually getting evicted in 2007.. In 2013, it made a brief reappearance in the Ubica. Activities As a hacklab/internet workplace PUSCII offered free internet access, workshops and hosted discussions on technology. Afterwards it stayed active at Dutch and German hacker events.
