Mike Slocombe is a web designer and multimedia developer. His e-zine, Urban75, is regarded as one of the busiest and most popular sites in the UK. Mike Slocombe is also well known within the media industry and has been noted in as one of the most influential people in the UK internet business. History Orginally from Wales, Mike Slocombe has a long career of doing a variety of different jobs from flipping burgers and walking around London with a billboard over him. At one point, he was aiming for success in the music industry but this was largely unsuccussful. A career in a rock band, however, is what Mike often cites as the main reason from orginially deciding to move to London. Offline Club Offline is a series of club nights usually hosted in Brixton. Almost all the events are free The nightclub was started at a cinema in Brixton in 2004. Over the years, as the club expanded to several other venues in Brixton and London and eventually also expanded to New York. Technology Reviews Mike has also become famous over the recent years with his reviews across many well-known publications in addition to many more reviews on his own e-zine. The reviews range from cameras - scanners - laptops Max Hits Mike Slocombe is also the author of a best-selling book designed to give advice on web design.
